Spire Murrayfield are now recruiting a Physiotherapy Assistant, to join our experienced and dynamic team on a bank basis. Working with a registered Physiotherapist primarily on the ward you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Assisting Registered Physio’s on the ward
2. Progressing patient mobility after surgery and discharging patients
3. Assist with exercise classes
4. Provide a high level of customer service to all patients, consultants and hospital teams
5. Stock Replenishment and ordering equipment
6. Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent
7. Help to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Physio department
8. Support administrative team
Who we're looking for
9. You must have experience in a previous Physiotherapy Assistant role
10. A good level of IT skills
11. Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
12. You must be able to provide exceptional patient care
