Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + Overtime after 40 hours
Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for work during a busy seasonal period?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run flower business based in Newstead Village, Annesley, to support their busy Mother’s Day operations.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment where you will play a key part in keeping stock moving efficiently and safely during one of the company’s busiest times of year.
The Role – Key Responsibilities:
1. Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
2. Loading and unloading deliveries of flowers, stock and packaging materials
3. Moving pallets between goods-in, storage and production areas
4. Supplying the production team with stock as required
5. Assisting with stock rotation and warehouse organisation
6. Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
7. Supporting general warehouse duties where required
This role will involve both forklift work and some manual handling, so you must be comfortable working in a physically active environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
8. Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
9. Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
10. Confident loading/unloading vehicles safely
11. Good awareness of health & safety procedures
12. Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the full Mother’s Day peak period
13. A flexible and team-focused attitude
Experience within a fast-moving or seasonal warehouse environment would be advantageous.
