Senior Care Assistant
Hazel End Care Home – Bishop’s Stortford
42 Hours per Week
Days: 8am – 8pm | Nights: 8pm – 8am
2-Week Rolling Rota:
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 -Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

About Hazel End

Hazel End is a contemporary luxury care home set within beautifully landscaped gardens in Bishop’s Stortford, offering high-quality residential, dementia and day care services in a warm and welcoming environment.

Purpose-built with comfort and wellbeing in mind, the home features stylish en-suite bedrooms, elegant lounges, cinema and café areas, and peaceful outdoor spaces designed to help residents live full and meaningful lives.

Conveniently located with excellent transport links from Harlow, Stevenage and Cambridge, the home is easily accessible for commuters.

The Role

We are looking for a confident and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to lead and support a small care team while ensuring the highest standards of resident care are delivered at all times.

You will oversee the smooth running of your floor during each shift and play a key role in medication management, care planning, mentoring team members and supporting the overall wellbeing of residents.

What We’re Looking For

1. NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
2. Previous experience within a care setting
3. Strong leadership and communication skills
4. A warm, caring and professional approach
5. Passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care
