Job Title: Casual Cleaner
Salary: £13.68 with rolled-up holiday pay
Location: Milestones Museum, Basingstoke
Hours: Ad-hoc, including weekends
Type of Contract: Casual
Can you help to make sure that our venue is clean, safe and up to the high standards that our visitors expect?
Responsibilities
* Keep the museum clean and well maintained, including tidying education rooms and ensuring visitor washroom facilities are kept clean.
* Uphold the highest standards and ensure the venue is presented in its best possible light.
* Follow various instructions and procedures to ensure tasks are carried out correctly and the venues are safe spaces for visitors.
* As a casual worker, receive shifts when we need additional staff for holiday and/or sickness cover. Peak times are during school holidays, especially over the winter months and on rainy days.
About you
* You will have a strong drive to make the visitor experience at Milestones and Basing House the best it can be, appreciating the expectation placed on us to ensure every visitor has an excellent day out.
* You will be part of a team of leaning staff and will be a supportive team player with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively, always willing to jump in and lend a hand, but also happy to work on your own initiative when necessary.
* Ideally, you will have previous cleaning experience. We will provide full PPE, cleaning equipment and uniform.
