Our projects include large residential, industrial, and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to smaller schemes and working for interesting clients including motor manufacturers, Schools/Universities, healthcare providers, contractors, developers etc.
What you need to do to be effective in this role
* Produce structural engineering work packages from initial concept through to completion
* Produce calculations packages for Building Control submission
* Undertake survey inspections and produce written reports in good English on findings, set out in a logical manner with appropriate recommendations
* Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
* Represent the company at external meetings with clients, contractors, and fellow professionals
* Deliver work to a fee and to timescales agreed
* Prepare client / project proposals
* Agree design philosophy / design fundamentals
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
* Accredited civil or structural engineering degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND)
* Right to Work in the UK, without requiring visa sponsorship
* Some experience of drawing packages such as Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam would be an advantage
