A creative and innovative digital media agency based in Central London is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their vibrant Media Payables team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a vital role in managing supplier accounts for exciting media projects. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a mixture of working from home and in the office.
Your Role:
As part of a collaborative team of 7 Accounts Payable Clerks and reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will take ownership of your supplier ledgers and gain exposure to various responsibilities, including:
* Managing multiple supplier accounts, handling high volumes of media-related invoices.
* Raising internal query tickets and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
* Reconciling supplier statements and preparing weekly and monthly payment runs.
* Conducting monthly reviews of aged debt and debit balances on creditor accounts.
* Identifying and escalating potential risks to management.
* Supporting with audit-related administration and other ad hoc tasks.
Your Profile:
Our client is looking for someone with at least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a fast-moving media or creative industry. You should have strong Excel skills, be highly organized, and thrive under pressure, meeting deadlines with confidence and precision.
