Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Podiatry Service at Livewell Southwest in a developmental role. The successful applicant will be employed by the Podiatry Service and work towards completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry as a Level 6 apprentice. The apprenticeship will involve distance learning provided by the University of Plymouth, workplace learning over a 3‑year period, and the aim to complete the apprenticeship by September 2029. During this time the apprentice will attend university sessions, complete clinical hours, pass academic modules, and meet all assessment requirements to achieve the BSc (Hons) degree.
The role requires continuous development of skills and knowledge, learning to provide effective interventions, maintaining clinical records, and ultimately managing a podiatric clinical caseload with appropriate peer support.
