Are you an experienced Tekla Detailer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a talented Senior Tekla Detailer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile structural and architectural steelwork projects.

The Role
As a Senior Tekla Detailer, you will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring projects move smoothly from design through to manufacture and installation.
Key Responsibilities
* Create high-quality Tekla Structures 3D models and fabrication drawings
* Produce assembly drawings, GA drawings, bolt lists, and material take-offs
* Liaise with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
* Identify and resolve design clashes and technical challenges early
* Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
* Support and mentor junior detailers
* Attend design and coordination meetings as required
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' experience as a Tekla Detailer within the steelwork industry
* Strong knowledge of structural and secondary steelwork
* Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
* Solid understanding of fabrication processes, welding symbols, tolerances, and installation methods
* Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines
Desirable
* Experience mentoring or supervising junior detailers
* Knowledge of BIM workflows and data exchange formats (IFC, DWG, etc.)
* Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards
