Neway International are seeking a Swap Out Controller to join our client based with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (Vision Products). Location: Vision Products, Pontyclun Hours: 37 hours per week Start Date: asap Start/Finish: 08:00–16:00 Pay Rate: £13.26 PAYE About the Client Vision Products, part of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, provide specialist assistive technology and community support services. Due to a temporary peak in workload, the Assistive Technology Department has a short‑term requirement within their equipment swap‑out programme, supporting the transition from analogue to digital home care devices. The Role This is a customer‑facing position responsible for visiting service users’ homes to replace outdated analogue equipment with upgraded digital devices. Full training will be provided on the equipment and installation process. The role requires a professional, patient, and organised approach, ensuring each customer receives clear guidance and a positive experience. Key Responsibilities Installing and swapping out home care devices as part of the digital upgrade programme Demonstrating equipment use to customers (training provided) Following clear instructions and processes Maintaining accurate records of completed installations Providing excellent customer service during home visits Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet programme targets Candidate Requirements Enhanced DBS (required) Full UK Driving Licence Basic IT skills Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to follow instructions accurately Flexible, reliable, and able to work well within a team Confident engaging with customers in their homes
