The Company
My client is a global insurance provider who have dominated the insurance market for decades.
Due to exponential growth, they are looking to recruit an Account Handler on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who either works in the insurance industry or would like to establish a career in the industry.
The Role
* Confidently delivering excellent customer service both internally and externally.
* Producing and chasing quotes whilst supporting external Account Handler with quotations.
* Resolving account queries efficiently.
* Confident at handling financial data.
* Processing confidential terms.
* Liaise effectively with the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal.
* Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty.
* Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
* Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
* Calculating premium and maintaining spreadsheets
* Update risk information prior to renewal
The candidate
* Commercial insurance experience would be a distinct advantage, but an ambitious customer service/ administration professional is vital
* Attention to detail is imperative to the success of the role
* Confident individual with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* You must have a team mentality and be engaged as well as being professional and supportive.
* Confident at handling financial data.
* Competent IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint..
* Be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
* Able to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated
* Commercial awareness
