An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Supervisor within Glasgow City Health Social Care Partnership’s (GCHSCP) Community Equipment Service, where you will report to the Assistant Stores and Distribution Manager.

Position

Responsibilities
* Supervision, support and motivation of Occupational Therapist Technicians, Drivers and the Recycling Supervisor to ensure compliance with service procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
* Providing technical guidance and training to ensure the installation, delivery, repair and maintenance of community equipment is carried out to the highest standard for the Equipu partners and service users.
* Working with the Assistant Stores and Distribution Manager to identify procedural requirements and improvement, as well as monitor performance within the area.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* Previous experience of supervising and working within a service/distribution environment is desirable.
* Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Successful candidates will be required to pay for their PVG Membership or Scheme Checks.
* These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
