Join our HR team and provide comprehensive, expert, and hands‑on HR support to key stakeholders within our capabilities and functions.
Applying expertise and knowledge via coaching and advice, this 18‑month FTC role will foster a high‑performance culture and enable our people agenda. Reporting into the Head of UK People Partnering, this role will also work alongside colleagues in our HR People Partnering team (locally and globally), HR Operations team and PAs Centre of Excellence (CoE).
This is an exciting opportunity to Partner with PA’s Digital and Data team in the UK.
Hybrid working – be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. Actual time will vary by role or assignment.
The People Partner will:
* Partner with your business areas to develop and implement their people agenda, ensuring alignment with the global people strategy and drawing on expertise from PAs HR CoEs.
* Enable a high-performance culture through strong performance management and talent development, drawing on expertise from PAs CoEs.
* Work alongside PAs ER and Policy Specialist on ER cases, ensuring the right interventions are put in place.
* Work with and coach leads and line managers to develop and optimise people management capability, supported by PAs CoEs.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our business partnering processes and policies.
* Coach leads and line managers and their people to ensure effective delivery of our cyclical processes including Mid, YE and promotion processes.
* Work alongside colleagues from across the HR community and contribute to strategic and operational HR projects (local, national and global).
* Utilise people data to provide insights, drive best practice and enable innovative solutions.
* Champion PAs values and the behaviours we expect of each other.
Qualifications
* A passion and commitment to providing the highest quality service to your client areas in a collaborative manner.
* Consistently collaborates with and supports HR colleagues to provide an exceptional service to our clients.
* Commercially astute, you consider the financial and legal impact/risk of all decisions.
* Well‑networked with a strong understanding of the organisation structure, its intersections and relationships.
* You are able to challenge and influence where necessary to ensure the right decisions are made.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which enable you to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
* The ability to analyse a complex problem through an evidence‑based approach, producing compelling insights and recommendations to a client problem. You understand when it is appropriate to escalatate a problem and seek additional advice.
* Strong prioritisation skills, balancing constant reactive demands with a proactive approach.
* You will have personal experience and understanding of working with clients within a consultancy and/or professional services environment, ideally having worked with a digital/data driven client group.
* Degree & CIPD qualified, strong working knowledge of HR best practice and UK employment law.
Security and Background Checks
Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance.
All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard; some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
