one of my local government clients is seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Consultant to lead and support critical people-focused initiatives across the organisation. This is a short-term contract ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in public sector strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement workforce strategy aligned to organisational goals

Advise senior leaders on change management, workforce planning, and talent development
*
Develop HR frameworks that support operational effectiveness and employee engagement
*
Analyse workforce data to inform strategic decisions
*
Collaborate across departments to deliver impactful, sustainable HR solutions
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working at a strategic HR level in a local authority, central government, or NHS setting
*
Strong understanding of public sector workforce challenges and legislation
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*
CIPD qualified or equivalent (preferred)
