The historic working watermill is a local treasure, being an important part of the village history, as well as a gateway to the local countryside and river walks.The role will be partly outdoors, greeting visitors as they arrive and ensuring efficient and compliant parking in the small car park, as well as ensuring everyone has a great welcome and goodbye. It will also include some time working inside the Mill on open days, using the till and advocating and recruiting for National Trust membership.It's a great role to share the stories of the Mill, as well as the importance of the river and its wildlife with a wide variety of visitors to ensure everyone enjoys their day. The car park and tea room are open all year round. Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
