Job Title: Statutory Compliance Senior Manager

Job Summary:
The role covers responsibility for the management of global financial statutory related activities for the Revlon International business and oversees financial reporting, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and the implementation of controls across the company’s global operations. The role requires deep expertise in financial reporting and reports into the VP, International Controller based in London with one Statutory Compliance Accountant reporting into the role.
Job Duties:
* Manage & coordinate all global financial statutory related activities - including statutory financials calendar, overseeing compliance reporting tracker, filings and monitoring to ensure 100% compliance.
* Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of financial statement filings across International.
* Provide statutory compliance support to all International legal entities on business operations, new business projects and organisational changes.
* Keep up to date with key technical accounting and GAAP changes in IFRS, US GAAP and implications on international entities.
* Responsible for maintaining US GAAP to local GAAP reconciliations and understanding key differences.
* Engage and manage international financial statement providers in preparation of financial statements and schedules for external auditors or for non-audited filing submissions.
* Engage and manage external audit providers supporting in planning, escalations and overall delivery of audit completion – for example support local teams with Kick-off meetings, PBC lists, fieldwork and finalization.
* Ensure internal governance and controls are adhered to, executing necessary internal controls in the statutory filings processes to meet SOX requirements.
* Work with legal to ensure all company secretarial and governance is in place for all international legal entities and correct documentation is completed prior to any filings.
* Support tax with completing tax information packs and support all the global tax filings that are required.
* Assist tax with managing queries from tax authorities, tax investigations and transfer pricing impacts relating to international jurisdictions.
* Familiarity with ERP applications Hyperion (HFM), SAP and JDE is a plus.
* Play an integral role in legal entity management, rationalisations, dissolutions and set ups, working in collaboration with legal, tax and business functions to ensure all requirements are met.
* Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested
Experience:
* 3-5 years PQE working in an international Indirect Tax gained either within industry or consulting.
* Experience managing multi-jurisdiction legal entity statutory filings for a global FMCG/CPG company with an international footprint.
* Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting standards.
* Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent.
* Working in practice with a leading firm where audit experience and financial statement review/ preparation experience gained.

EDUCATION
* University degree or equivalent in business administration/economics/law or vocational training with additional qualification.
* Fluent English – additional languages a plus.
