Role Description:
Our Client requires someone to oversee and manage the daily cleaning operation for 2 communal areas of two prestigious buildings that are within walking distance of each other. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are consistently achieved through your team of Hygiene Operatives.
The Cleaning Duty Manager will lead, motivate, and support approx. 15 members of the cleaning team, plus Supervisors, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Duties:
* Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff across allocated sites
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards
* Develop staff schedules, allocate duties, and monitor performance
* Conduct site inspections and quality audits regularly
* Train, mentor, and support staff in their roles
* Manage stock levels and cleaning supplies effectively
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and COSHH regulations
* Handle staff issues, absence, and performance management
* Report operational updates to senior management and clients
* Respond promptly to client requests and resolve issues efficiently.
