Job Description: The Field Army Ammunition Manager is the ammunition supply chain focus in control of the provision, management and control of ammunition in support of the Field Army. As Ammunition Manager you will provide whole life accounting of ammunition in accordance with current MOD policy documents. Plan and assist with audits and inspections of Army cryptographic accounts and ensure the management, accounting, control, and consumption of ammunition complies with current MOD policy documents. Key responsibilities: Focus for all Field Army ammunition supply chain optimisation, user demand forecasting, inventory reduction and financial benefits. Lead for the Field Army Training and Operational Command Acquisition Support Plan (CASP) with Logistics Support. Army lead for Free from Explosives Violations. Field Army lead for ammunition management. Field Army lead for the analysis of ammunition sustainment. Maintain close liaison with the end-to-end ammunition supply chain stakeholders. Field Army lead for the analysis of ammunition risk and develop mitigation. Provide subject matter expert assistance to Chain of Command, Field Army, Land Operations Command and Basic level budget.
