Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Technical Services Coordinator or in a similar technical compliance role within food manufacturing. As Technical Services Coordinator, you will lead the administrative and analytical functions of the compliance team, ensuring robust systems are in place to support food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Quality Systems
* Manage and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring documentation is current, controlled, and audit-ready.
* Lead document control processes, including version control, approvals, and accessibility.
Complaints & Non-Conformance
* Oversee the logging, investigation, and resolution of customer and internal complaints.
* Conduct trend analysis to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
KPI & Data Reporting
* Own compliance and food safety KPI reporting, providing insights and trend analysis to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements based on data findings.
Audit & Regulatory Support
* Prepare for internal and external audits (BRC, HACCP, GMP), ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.
* Support follow-up on non-conformances and corrective actions.
Supplier & Sample Management
* Manage returned product samples and coordinate with suppliers on non-conforming materials.
* Ensure traceability and compliance documentation is complete and accurate.
Training & Mentorship
* Mentor and support the Compliance Administrator, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
* Deliver hygiene and compliance training across the site.
Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes and support digitalisation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in a technical services or compliance role within food manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of QMS, document control, complaints handling, and audit preparation.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance tracking tools.
* Analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking and reporting.
* Previous mentoring or leadership experience is desirable.
