Job DescriptionMitie is offering an opportunity for a Security Officer to join the Eaton account, based on-site at the customer location. Main Duties -Maintain a professional presence: determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable -Welcome clients and visitors: -Issue and manage ID badges -Act as first point of contact in emergencies -Operate: -Phones -Emails -IT systems -CCTV -Alarm systems -Access control (doors and car park) -Monitor and respond to: -Suspicious activity -Potential criminal behaviour -Maintain control of incidents until emergency services arrive -Record, report, and escalate incidents to the Account Manager Person Specification -Strong team player with a positive attitude -Ability to work independently -Previous security experience preferred -Flexible approach to working hours -Excellent customer service skills -Willingness to go above and beyond for clients and visitors -Strong written and verbal communication -Ability to remain calm under pressure Knowledge & Requirements -Understanding of: -Health and Safety at Work Act -Criminal and Civil Law -Police and Criminal Evidence Act -SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding) - Essential Additional Information -Equal opportunities employer -Strong focus on diversity and inclusion -Commitment to employee growth and development
