We are currently recruiting for a Senior Director, PMO to join our Programme Management Team. In this role, you will have global responsibility for establishing, leading, and optimizing the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful delivery of strategic programs and projects across the organization.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
1. Overseeing the global portfolio of internal and client projects ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
2. Define and implement the PMO vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and client needs
3. Partner with executive leadership to prioritize internal initiatives and client projects to allocate resources effectively
4. Managing a team of PMO & Programme Managers.
5. Develop and maintain project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, tailored to biotech and GMP regulated environments
6. Ensure compliance with governance standards and risk management processes.
7. Monitor performance metrics, risks, and milestones for all programs and projects
8. Drive adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance project delivery
9. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement change management initiatives.
We are looking for:
10. Degree in Life Sciences or Business (Masters preferred)
11. Project Management qualification (PMP, PgMP or equivalent) strongly preferred. Familiarity with Agile and Lean principles is a plus
12. PMO Leadership and Program Management experience within Biotech, pharma or CDMO environments
13. Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art project management tools and techniques and the skills required for their effective utilisation
14. Proficient in project management tools and portfolio reporting systems
15. Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
16. Demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills across global, matrixed organizations. Acts as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in customer centric environment.
