About You
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and be working towards Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. However, your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and additional relevant training, and be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
