Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)
* FTE/New pass/Mon-Fri: Days £16.25, Nights £19.61, Saturday £19.61, Sunday £20.17
* Ad hoc/Weekend drivers (both Sat+Sun): Days £18.00, Nights £19.00, Saturday £22.00, Sunday £24.00
* Guaranteed 9 hours on all patterns
* Bank holiday = Sunday rate
Drivers looking for adhoc positions must have experience as these will be assessed as standard. FTE drivers will be booked multiple weeks in advance and generally Monday to Friday. Adhoc will be booked on a weekly basis as requirements dip. Adhoc will include weekends.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
* Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
* No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions
* Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements and understanding of driver’s hours and WTD legislation
