Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for finance? We are seeking a Finance Administration Officer to support the accurate and timely delivery of our Accounts Payable service.

In this role, you'll work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to process invoices and credit notes, resolve payment queries, and maintain the accuracy of our financial records. Main duties of the job

Finance Assistant: Full time - 40 hours per week (part time options may be available subject to agreement/discussion)

Main Duties:

• Process and pay invoices and credit notes in line with financial procedures.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice/payment queries.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Input and manage financial data using Oracle and I-procurement systems.
• Monitor and action open orders to ensure timely payments.
• Prioritise workload to meet weekly and monthly finance deadlines.
• Support adherence to financial policies and advise on procedures.

Our flagship specialist cancer hospital in Liverpool opened in June 2020, supported by our sites in Wirral and Aintree. CCC deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies and deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home and Work service and are the only facility in the UK providing low-energy proton beam therapy to treat rare eye cancers.

Salary information: initial starting point £27,284 per annum pro rata moving to £28,978 per annum upon one years' service and successful appraisal.

Person Specification

Education and Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Mathematics
• Working towards achieving, NVQ 4 (AAT) level in Accounting

Knowledge

• Demonstrated numeracy and literacy skills.
• Proficient in use of current software (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• A proven ability to work with computerised ledger systems and the general suite of Microsoft products
• Excellent organisational skills, methodical record keeper with an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of the Oracle Integrated Financial system
• Knowledge of NHS VAT requirements and keep up to date with changes.
