The Council acts as a statutory advisor to the Department for Communities (DfC) on historic buildings. It supports DfC's work in preserving the past to enrich the future, recognizing how the historic environment can enhance prosperity, strengthen society, and shape character.
Are you interested in using your skills and experience to contribute to the protection and development of Northern Ireland’s historic environment? Applications are invited for the position of Chair of the Historic Buildings Council (HBC).
