Job Description
3. Lead, mentor, and develop IT Business Partners to ensure strong alignment between IT and business objectives.
4. Define and deliver IT strategies that support business goals and improve operational efficiency.
5. Own and manage the IT Capex budget, ensuring effective resource allocation across initiatives.
6. Track spend, monitor project financials, and report budget performance to senior leadership.
7. Partner with business leaders to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities across the business.
8. Communicate clearly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
9. Oversee the planning and delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring they are on time and within budget.
10. Manage risks, resources, and timelines using appropriate project management approaches.
11. Monitor service and support performance metrics to assess effectiveness.
12. Drive continuous improvement through data-led insights and process optimisation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Business IT should have:
13. Proven expertise in IT leadership
14. Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
15. Demonstrated experience in delivering large programmes of work
