The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader to play a key role in our growing production team. You'll be leading and inspiring colleagues on the line, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency - while creating a positive and supportive workplace.
What You'll Do
* Lead by example, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are consistently followed.
* Coach and mentor team members, identifying training needs and supporting development.
* Manage team performance, including output, timekeeping and compliance training.
* Ensure production meets all legal, technical, and safety requirements.
* Complete and maintain all required production documentation to the highest standard.
* Deliver the daily production plan in full, collaborating with the Operations Manager to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
* Proactively communicate issues early to keep the team aligned and supported.
* Ensure equipment is well maintained, used correctly, and kept in good condition.
Your Accountabilities
* Support the Operations Manager in driving performance against KPIs (labour, waste, material usage, run rates, changeovers).
* Ensure all staff are trained and competent for their roles, with fair and effective rotation across tasks.
* Contribute to internal audits, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed.
* Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, raising concerns promptly and constructively.
What We're Looking For
* 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced food production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
* Supervisory/leadership experience (1–2 years minimum preferred).
* Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and production systems.

Pay: From £14.60 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
