Description
Health and Safety Business Partner
Based in either the Northwest or Scotland, with hybrid working, you’ll have the flexibility of working from home while having a base at one of our national offices e.g., Maryport, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.
Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hpw)
Salary circa: £50,000 pa depending on experience, with a car allowance included, and benefits like a health cash plan and Wagestream.

We are passionate about developing and implementing the Health and Safety strategy, plans, and policies to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Typical day as a Health and Safety Business Partner
* Work with stakeholders in the Northwest and Scottish regions.
* Support operational management with training programmes.
* Conduct health and safety checks, audits, inspections, and generate monthly reports.
* Assist with contractor procurement and maintain relationships with the supply chain.
* Collaborate with the Health and Safety team.

You have
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, IOSH certification, working towards CMIOSH, maintaining CPD.
* Experience in Maintenance/Construction H&S Management or similar roles.
* Experience in risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and supporting construction safety.
* Ability to analyse incidents and produce investigation reports.
* Experience in writing and reviewing safety policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A valid UK driving license for work purposes.

Job details
* Monday to Friday working week.
* Responsibility for regional health and safety, with occasional travel.
* Flexibility to work from home or offices, with necessary technology provided.
* Expected to spend around 2-3 days per week traveling or working on-site, with the rest from home or office.
