About the Role
To conduct various types of on-street transport surveys, engaging with members of the public and gathering information on behalf of Nottingham City Council departments and client companies and organisations; putting up and taking down Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders; and delivering letters and leaflets to households across the city.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to:
1. Perform a variety of traffic counts including vehicle passing and turning counts, classified counts, parking surveys, vehicle occupancy counts etc.
2. Put up and take down Temporary Traffic Regulation Order notices across Nottingham city.
3. Conduct questionnaire survey interviews with members of the public and/or business owners either face-to-face or over the telephone.
4. Be competent in using a computer and entering data into a spreadsheet.
5. Undertake some office work such as printing, photocopying and collating documents.
