Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young children in their first stages of learning.
The Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. You’ll help children develop their communication, social, and early learning skills, supporting them through structured activities and play-based learning. Please note that this is a full-time role and you will be required Monday to Friday. This is a temporary position however it could turn permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements:
✅ Completed a recognised course covering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
✅ Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
✅ Have previous experience supporting children in an EYFS setting
✅ Be caring, patient, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential
Desirable:
⭐ Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
