We are seeking a TDDI Gov Solution Owner to lead the teams responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining IT solutions in our G&A sites. The role focuses on solutions with specific data residency, security, and compliance requirements. It acts as an interface between TDDI, the business, and clients, ensuring alignment of TDDI strategies with business needs and customer direction.

Main Responsibilities
1. Direct line management of 7 site IT managers
2. Overall leadership of the 17-man Gov IT Team
3. Senior stakeholder management, acting as the primary contact for TDDI leadership, G&A Exec team, and prison directors
4. Client management, serving as the primary contact for MoJ and MoD representatives
5. Supplier management, including key suppliers like Unilink, Unify, Traka, Made Purple
6. Reporting, feedback, and monitoring service delivery
7. Contributing to and maintaining the operating model for the G&A Sovereign IT team
8. Producing technical strategies and roadmaps for key services
9. Ownership of all managed changes within the domain
10. Serving as SME for the domain within the TDA
11. Ensuring solutions are fully documented, including HLDs, LLDs, NSMs, asset registers, and knowledge base artifacts
12. Documenting software and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and skills distribution, including informal knowledge transfer sessions

The Ideal Candidate
* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) at all levels, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
* Ability to work autonomously following provided directions
* Strong customer-facing skills and support passion
* HMG Security clearance or ability to obtain it
* Willingness to work outside normal hours as required by projects or incidents
* Knowledge of information assurance & data protection legislation (GDPR)
* Degree or equivalent experience
* Understanding of Sodexo’s business and processes
* Experience in both public and private sectors
* Knowledge of service delivery (ITIL) and project management (PMP, Agile)
* At least 5 years of experience working with senior business users in large, secure environments
* Experience leading sizable technical teams
* Commitment to continuous improvement
* Knowledge of justice sector applications like CMS
* Awareness of Information Assurance standards
* Understanding of business costs and efficiencies
* Full driving license and valid passport
Package Description
Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience
