Responsibilities
* Delivery of technically sound quantitative models to support wider project delivery.
* Author and reviewer of technical evidence‑led reports, ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes.
* Provide timely technical input and expertise to multidisciplinary projects and programmes of work.
* Build client relationships and continuously develop services across the UK and the water sector.
* Mentor junior staff and strengthen relationships with other disciplines.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in a relevant field, with postgraduate qualifications and/or experience within the water industry.
* Working towards or already a chartered member of a relevant professional institution.
* Working experience with at least one type of water quality modelling software (e.g., MIKE, Delft3D, SAGIS‑SIMCAT, RQP) and demonstrable application in inland systems (physicochemical, biological, bacterial, or chemical parameters).
* Basic understanding of physicochemical water quality and associated regulatory standards for freshwater.
* Background or understanding of the regulated water industry and/or catchment and nature‑based solutions is advantageous.
* Strong stakeholder liaison skills, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary staff.
