Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to enhance their quality of life.
* Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed guidelines.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on progress and any concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
* Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
* Uphold hygiene standards within the home or care environment, ensuring a clean and safe space for clients.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
* Flexibility to work every other weekend.
