A leading global real estate investor and developer is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its dynamic London-based Finance team. This role will take primary responsibility for accounting operations across the APAC region while supporting global finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and around the 1 to 3 years PQE mark or equivalent, either looking for a first move out of practice at AM/Manager level or someone already in industry within property or financial services.
The culture of the London office is professional, down to earth, supportive and inclusive with around 50 people of which Finance is 7 people.
APAC Region: act as lead accountant, overseeing financial operations in several SE Asian countries
Financial & Management Reporting: own the month-end close for APAC including management accounts, variance analysis and commentary. Treasury: collaborate with Treasury to ensure timely payments.
Audit: lead the audit process for Singapore; provide audit support across EU regions.
Accounts Payable: oversee AP and weekly employee expense reimbursements.
Compliance: ensure tax and regulatory compliance including GST, VAT, and statutory reporting.
Documentation: maintain up-to-date accounting memos, policies and process notes.
Collaboration: build strong relationships with APAC colleagues and handle ad hoc finance queries.
ACA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, likely around the 1-3 years PQE mark
Experience working in property / real estate, asset management or financial services - this could have been gained in industry or via your client base in Audit
Proficient in Excel and large data sets
Experience in international finance and working across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
75-80,000 base plus bonus and benefits.
