Overview
Trust Nurse Services is seeking motivated and forward-thinking Registered Accident and Emergency nurses to work agency shifts. We are looking for proactive and dedicated Registered Accident and Emergency nurses to support our NHS clients in West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and others and to create a safe and supportive environment for patients, and to feel comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
* Talk with the paramedics and take over the patient’s care.
* Perform the initial patient examination to assess the patient’s needs.
* Fix dressings and administer medication for pain relief.
* Determine which department the patient needs to be referred to.
* Uphold high care standards.
* Make arrangements to admit patients into the hospital if needed.
* Keep families informed.
* Maintain close contact with laboratory staff to pass results on to A&E doctors.
Experience and Qualifications
* Be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on pin.
* Experience: 6 months of experience at a relevant level within the UK community.
* Possess a full UK driving license and access to an insured car daily.
* Effective communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal) with ability to adapt for individuals with communication difficulties.
* Able to make clinically reasoned judgments; work autonomously; know when to seek guidance from senior staff.
* Effective time and caseload management; good problem-solving skills; knowledge of clinical outcomes measures and clinical audit; management of long-term conditions and palliative care.
Requirements
* Rate: £45 - £50 per hour (Ltd or sole trader, with increased…)
* DBS check: Possess a valid DBS dated within last 12 months or be registered on the DBS update service.

Location: West London
Pay: Up to £32 per hour
