Sales Office Manager Location: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in Llanwrtyd Wells, Mid Wales Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £45,000–£55,000 performance bonus benefits We’re recruiting a Sales Office Manager to lead and develop an internal sales team within a well-established UK business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee daily operations, drive high standards of customer service, and support the external sales team in securing and growing key accounts. This hybrid role requires a regular on-site presence (at least 3 days a week) to provide leadership and ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations. Key Responsibilities * Lead, manage, and develop the internal sales team, setting objectives and driving performance. * Oversee customer enquiries, quotations, and order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Build strong relationships with key accounts, working closely with external sales to deliver a seamless customer experience. * Support complex orders and liaise with suppliers to resolve challenges. * Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals. * Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and provide regular performance reports. * Enhance internal processes to improve communication and efficiency. * Keep up to date with industry trends and market activity. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience managing and developing an internal sales or customer service team. * Strong track record in B2B sales or account management. * Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead by example. * Proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office. * Willing to be based in Llanwrtyd Wells at least 3 days a week. * Full UK driving licence. Desirable: * Experience in electronics, engineering, or technical product sales. * Familiarity with ISO, AS, BS, or CECC quality standards. * Background in quality-critical sectors (defence, aerospace, rail, or industrial).
