Your responsibilities
will include:
1. Reviewing referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
2. Conducting admission assessments and maintain effective management plans of all young people on the unit
3. Conducting risk assessments and review regularly
4. Allocating specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
5. Assessing physical health
6. Ensuring effective liaison with referring teams
7. Facilitating regular CPA review meeting
8. Acting as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act
9. Involvement in quality, inspections and governance processes
You will also be required to take part in the On Call Consultant rota.
To be successful in this role, you'll need
10. Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
11. Experience of CYPMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders desirable
