Founding Engineer / Full Stack Engineer
(AI Agents, LLMs, Full-Stack, TypeScript/Python)

A VC-backed, fast-growing AI company (Series A, £20M raised) is now building a new R&D-style engineering team to move faster, ship cutting-edge features, and explore next-generation AI agent products.
They’re now looking to hire a Founding Engineer/Full Stack Engineer to help push the boundaries of what's possible with LLMs, AI agents and intelligent systems.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with commercial teams and technical founders, contribute to a well-funded product with real users, and help shape the future of how AI agents support real-world businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Stack Development:
* Work across the stack with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Python/Java to deliver rapid iterations of new features. You’ll build, test, and deploy agentic tools that make an impact from day one.
Prototype & Ship Fast:
* This is not a long-roadmap environment, you’ll be expected to move quickly, solve problems independently, and get working code into users’ hands. You’ll experiment, build, and repeat.
LLM Integration:
* Use tools like OpenAI, LangChain, and other frameworks to bring natural language interfaces to life.
* A genuine interest in this space is a must, alongside working to develop AI agents.
Collaborate in Ambiguity:
* You’ll be comfortable figuring things out as you go, navigating fast-changing priorities, and working in a team where initiative and curiosity are valued more than rigid processes.
Product & Stakeholder Partnership:
* Work closely with product managers to gather, scope, and understand client requirements. You’ll be commercially minded and focused on delivering tools that make a measurable impact.
What They’re Looking For:
* Solid experience in a full-stack environment, ideally 3+ years
* Demonstrated ability to partner with product teams to deliver user-focused features and scope client requirements
* Experience in experimental design and rapid prototyping across multiple product
* Previous experience in LLMs, AI agents, or NLP tools
* A commercially aware mindset with an interest in building tools that solve real-world business problems
* Excellent communicator, especially in remote-first settings
* No formal education requirement, they're especially interested in people who are clearly passionate about this space (active in the tech community, building in public, etc.)
