Central Surgery is seeking a motivated and committed GP to join our large 2 site friendly but progressive practice. Located in the town of Barton-upon-Humber with a branch surgery in the village of Goxhill. Our team consists of 5 partners, salaried GP's, ANP's, ACP's, Practice Nurses, HCA's and a Pharmacist, along with supportive reception and admin teams. We are a proactive member of the North Care Network and have a further team of additional roles including First Contact Physiotherapists, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribing Link Workers and PA's. The Surgery is committed to the ongoing development of all our staff and are proud to be a training practice to GP registrars and medical students, working with Hull and York Medical School and the North Lincs Vocational Training Scheme. We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our multi-disciplinary team; someone who will help deliver a high level of patient care and be a key member of staff, undertaking both clinical and educational duties. We are happy to receive applications from both experienced GP's and those who meet the ARRS GP requirements.
* 6-8 Sessions
* Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
* Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
* Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
* In general, the post‑holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
