Our client based in the heart of the Hitchin industrial estate is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join its growing team. Working with experienced members of staff, Successful candidates will be provided with full training on the production operative role from start to finish with regular opportunities to develop and gain a permanent contract after successful trial period. Production Operative - Location Hitchin Production Operative - Job Duties Correctly measuring quantities of raw materials to include in batch production Setting up & running machines to produce customer orders Notifying engineeers of any faults to minimise production downtime Maintaining a clean work station in line with company guidelines Working to company Health & safety standards at all times Production Operative - Working Hours Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:15 / 14:00 - 22:15 on a weekly rotating basis Regular overtime available both during the week and at weekends paid at a premium Production Operative - Pay Rates £12.90 for the first 40 hours worked Monday - Friday increasing to £14.19 per hour after 12 weeks continuous service £18.38 per hour after 40 hours worked per week £24.50 per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holidays) Weekly pay Online payslips Pension contribution 24 hour contact with consultants The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
