The company manufactures over two million procedure packs and vascular access devices every year for a range of specialties including Cardiology, Radiology, Pacing, Laparoscopy, and Cardiac Surgery; and its unique, ground-breaking central venous catheter technology is helping to reduce patient risk in hospitals across the world.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to manage the warehouse team to ensure that quantity, quality, and delivery targets are achieved within the agreed timescales to ensure we continue to meet our customer needs (internal and external).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including goods in, storage, and dispatch.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational goals.
* Monitor and manage staff performance, providing regular feedback and conducting training as required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
* Oversee stock control, inventory management, and accurate order fulfilment.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
* A formal management/leadership qualification such as ILM or NVQ is desirable but not essential.
* 2 years minimum managing 10+ within a warehouse team
* Proven experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
* FLT experience would be an advantage as there would be a requirement to learn & use the trucks.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* A hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
HOURS OF WORK: 39.5
* Monday-Thursday: 08.00am-4.30pm & Friday's 8am-4pm
