Our client in the Technology Industry, is looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer toplay a crucial role in providing first-line technical support to clients, troubleshooting software-related problems, and ensuring seamless installation and configuration of software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a 1st Line Support Engineer your key duties will include:
1. Providing prompt and effective first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop sessions
2. Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving software-related problems and technical issues
3. Assisting clients with the installation and initial configuration of software products
4. Keeping up-to-date with the latest software updates and features, sharing knowledge with clients
5. Escalating complex issues to the 2nd Line Support teams
6. Offering basic training to clients on using the software effectively
7. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, technical issues, and resolutions
8. Assisting in testing new software releases and updates to identify and report bugs
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of 1st Line Support Engineer, you must have:
9. Previous experience within a Technical Support role
10. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
11. The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
12. Self-motivated with a positive attitude
13. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail
14. A full driving licence and access to own vehicle
