Location: National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Occasional travel to Fleet Air Arm Museum, National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool and HMS Caroline in Belfast. Hybrid working (minimum 2 days on site per week with home working available).
Salary: Salary (Grade 6) - £34,886 - £37,070 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Contract type: Fixed term contract (2 years)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Overview
Joining our Communications and Digital Engagement team within our Marketing Department, you will lead the creation of dynamic, impactful multimedia content (video, photography, audio, graphic) to make our digital platforms stand out and our stories shine. You will join the team to create a programme of digital content in support of the Boathouse 6 Project, transforming the 1840s Grade II* building into new exhibition and event spaces and realising the ambition to bring the Royal Marnie’s story to the dockyard.
You will help tell the story of the project, working with community groups, designers, architects, curators, conservators, funders and partners to document development work and prepare a range of assets to promote the new galleries and experiences for launch.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the creation of dynamic, multimedia content (video, photography, audio, graphic) for digital platforms.
* Develop a programme of digital content in support of the Boathouse 6 Project.
* Collaborate with community groups, designers, architects, curators, conservators, funders and partners; document development work and produce assets to promote new galleries and experiences.
* Manage multiple workstreams and content production from third parties as well as internal creation.
