Configuration Manager
Location: Stevenage – hybrid (2 days per week on site)
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 plus bonuses and benefits
As a Configuration Manager, you will lead the technical application of configuration management processes across a varied portfolio of complex, high-technology programmes.
The role demands confident engagement across engineering, manufacturing and delivery disciplines to ensure robust control of product baselines, change management and associated processes.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and deliver configuration management activities throughout the product lifecycle within designated programmes
2. Build and maintain effective relationships with key engineering and programme stakeholders to ensure compliance with CM principles
3. Contribute to the continuous improvement of configuration management policies, processes and standards
Skills and Experience:
4. Extensive experience in a configuration management role within a complex engineering environment, defence would be highly desirable
5. In-depth knowledge of CM principles, processes and standards (e.g. ISO10007, EN9100, Def Stan 05-57 desirable)
6. Strong appreciation of technical networks and product lifecycle considerations
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
8. Confident in planning, leading and delivering CM activities across multi-disciplinary teams
