Job Description
The apprentice will be trained to interpret technical engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and circuit diagrams, enabling them to perform electrical and electronic verification on control cubicles, system assemblies, and subsystem hardware. Assignments typically involve long‑duration, multi‑phase system builds lasting several months. The apprentice will begin with foundational tasks and progress to more complex diagnostic and test activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 4 GCSEs Level 4/Grade C including Mathematics and English.
* Minimum age 18 years / H&S legislation for working with live electrics.
What Can You Expect In Return...
In the first year, the apprentice will develop core technical skills applied directly to product builds and test activities. They will work within a small engineering team and attend college one day per week.
