The Role:
The University is replacing its Finance system with a new ERP platform. The ERP Finance Systems Accountant exists to provide strategic oversight and governance of the Finance ERP system, ensuring it supports the University's financial framework, maintains data integrity and complies with regulatory and audit requirements.
The post holder will set the strategic direction for Finance ERP systems, manage the Systems Configuration Manager, and work closely with the ERP Finance Systems Lead, Business Process Owners and the wider programme team. After go-live, this role will become the primary institutional owner of the Finance ERP system.
The working pattern for this post is full time, however we may be able to consider offering reduced hours, whilst balancing the needs of the project for the right candidate.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held between 05 May 2026 15 May 2026. This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 29 October 2027.
