Due to expansion Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic and motivated External Salesperson to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Halesowen Branch. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the UK. About the External Salesperson role You’ll be our full-time salesperson focusing on external sales. Expect to be out on the road across the predominantly across the Halesowen postcode area. We’re looking for someone who knows the local area and who enjoys driving new business sales, leveraging your contacts and industry knowledge. You’ll be driven and excited to make that sale! If you are comfortable approaching customers, knocking on doors and thrive off making the smallest to the largest sales we want to hear from you! Drive, enthusiasm, perseverance and persistence are the core of what we are looking for in this role and so we will consider a range of different experience levels. Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday; 8:30am – 5:30pm What we're looking for in our External Salesperson role A good level of knowledge in the MRO space along with the products that we sell, although crossover experience will be considered. A high level of motivation and enthusiasm to drive sales. Good systems knowledge and IT skills Prior external sales experience. Confident communicator – not afraid to cold call cross industry. Thrive in a role where you are given a high level of autonomy and trusted to deliver and drive innovation. Strong interest in learning our product range / engineering.
