About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Geography to join our dynamic Humanities team on a 1-year maternity cover contract. You will deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of geographical concepts. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking academy and support students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school priorities
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography
A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A team player with a proactive and reflective approach
