Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa is a luxury 4* hotel steeped in history. Set in 11 acres of Warwickshire parkland, the grade II listed building hosted William Shakespeare in 1599 with its heritage dating back to 1327.


Job Description


We are on the look out for a Meeting, Events and Groups Sales Manager at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa.

The Meetings, Events & Groups Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that all incoming sales leads are effectively managed, converted, and communicated.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the Meetings, Events & Groups office, ensuring daily administrative and sales tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
* Oversee the handling of all incoming sales leads, ensuring timely responses, effective negotiation, and conversion into confirmed business.
* Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure that the optimal business mix is achieved, supporting rate and yield strategies.
* Liaise with Heads of Department (HODs) to ensure smooth communication and operational planning for all meetings, events, and group bookings.
* Ensure accurate function sheets, contracts, and event details are prepared and distributed in line with business timelines.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, lead conversion rates, and booking patterns, providing reports and recommendations for improvements.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, from enquiry stage through to event delivery, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Lead, motivate, and support the office team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service standards.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and data protection requirements.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in meetings & events sales, groups reservations, or a similar role within hospitality.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue management principles.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
* Experience leading or supervising a team desirable.
* Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
* Proficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
