Why this job matters
Workflow controller will, under the direction of the Manager/Specialist, ensure all network integration, expansion and optimisation tasks are allocated, at the first opportunity, to the correct planning and subsequent deployment resource, whether in-house or third party, and will monitor progress of the delivery activities against committed delivery dates. The controller will intervene if committed dates are threatened, The role holder will work with the manager/specialist to understand priorities and to ensure plans stay on track against scheduled forecast dates. You will participate in regular progress forums so that a complete picture of delivery progress can be reviewed.

What You'll Be Doing
Support Business reporting to provide accurate status of team tasks to Line Management.
Work with the Manager/Specialist to undertake deep dive analysis of database reports to identify trend areas for improvement. Manage the team inbox, ensuring queries/request are responded to/actioned in a timely manner, providing customer updates as required, thus keeping key individuals up to date on progress.
Support continuous improvement methodologies throughout the team, look for improvements through the end-to-end process.
Own key performance indicators within own technical domain. Support the end to end service quality demanded by our customers.
Manage team resources and work allocation, drive priorities ensuring our projects SLA's are met.
Liaise with key teams and individuals developing and maintaining working relationships, influencing, negotiating, representing the team, responding to requests and escalations.
Deliver your and your team's projects, in accordance with Directorate and business priorities, providing ownership, reviewing, and ensuring the quality of the work produced.
Support the team's vendor tendering and vendor selection activities.
You will be responsible for aspects of the end to end management and delivery of multiple deployment projects, to be achieved whilst providing cost effective solutions to specified quality and time constraints.
What You'll Bring
Proficient in Microsoft office including in Excel.
Experience of either SAP/JIRA or equivalent workflow tools.
Knowledge of Planning, Delivery, and operational handover processes.
Evidence of the successful setting, and delivery against, KPI's and SLA's.
Knowledge and understanding of working in a delivery environment.
Understanding of workflow management tools like SAP and Continuous Improvement methodology is desirable.
Understanding of Mobile voice and data technologies and physical requirements. (Preferred)
