Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Control Manager to join our team in Colchester on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a confident credit professional who can hit the ground running, manage a credit control function effectively, and support the business during a period of change.
Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt
\t
* Oversee customer credit limits and perform regular credit risk assessments
\t
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
\t
* Handle escalated or complex debt queries and disputes
\t
* Produce regular reporting on debtor days, aged debt, and cash flow
\t
* Review and improve credit control processes and policies where appropriate
\t
* Support month-end processes and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required
About You
\t
* Proven experience in a Credit Control Manager role with team management experience
\t
* Strong knowledge of credit control best practices and risk management
\t
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
\t
* Hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills
\t
* Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\t
* Strong Excel and financial systems experience
